"To stay or to go?" - My TEDx conference in Paris

The day before yesterday, in Paris, something happened that I'd hardly dared dream about for years.

🎤 I was invited to speak at a TEDx conference in Paris..

💞 You've no idea how many emotions are running through my head and my heart! I've been watching Ted and Tedx conferences for over 10 years, and I'm inspired by them to find the energy I need to move mountains and change the world, a little more every day...

😮 We were 7 speakers at this Tedx Neoma Business School Rouen on the theme of "Staying or Leaving", with a wide variety of backgrounds and topics. And we were all in the same state...

To give you an idea of how it felt...
👨‍👨‍👧‍👧 Imagine a child getting up on stage to recite a poem at his elementary school's end-of-year show, in front of all the pupils, teachers and parents.
It's the feeling of having been entrusted with a mission of the utmost importance, the pride of having been chosen and of being able to share this moment with so many people, the sensation of being so tiny, and the incredible stage fright of having to flay the verses he's recited so much to be perfect on the big day.

🌏 My "poem" was about my involvement with the NGO Konstelacio for almost 13 years to educate young people about peace and intercultural dialogue, about the incredible impact of our actions and the hope this represents if we finally decide to invest in the future, with a longer-term vision.

🤩 It was a joy to share this key moment in my career with my co-speakers. The electricity flowing through our lovely team was magical. We were all the same, with all our differences. And we supported and encouraged each other instantly. That feeling of togetherness stays with me.

Anyway...

It was beautiful.
I'm proud.
I'm moved.
I'm happy.
