Episode 14 | The time when procrastination was a golden idea
Cross-cultural surprises

🇪🇬 In this episode set in EgyptI tell you about the time we waited until the last minute to book a hotel in Aswan, and had to trust a man called Boubous with our eyes closed.
It was one of the best decisions we ever made as travelers!
I tell you about the importance of to leave room for improvisation in the often hectic schedules of our travels, to allow the Other to share his culture with us, sometimes in ways we hadn't anticipated at all!
In our case, the result was an exceptional encounter, a magical, authentic hotel, the Nubian Museum, boat trips on the Nile, a concert in the sand and so much more!
For the first time in the history of "Surprises Interculturelles", I'm bringing you a two-part anecdote. See you in two weeks' time for the continuation of this Egyptian adventure!
Whether you're an expat, a traveller or just curious about cultures and diversity, this podcast is for you!
Enjoy!
